Cabo Verde

As a kid, Anaïs her grandfather had a well known audio store. The music from Cesaria Evora was played there a lot. Years later when we arrived for this project at Mindelo airport we’ve learned that this was the birth island from the great singer.

Not only did we fall in love with her music again, but also the people, the energy of the island and the crazy valley where the project is located.

It was a true honor to work with local craftsman, searching for the right materials and ways to work with and around the island. We’ve added the rattan patio design, transformed the garden and made a custom design for all the furniture.
